Prof. J.M. Sérvulo Correia accepts an honorary doctorate from the University of Athens

Mr. Jose Manuel Sérvulo Correia, Professor of Administrative Law at the Law School of the University of Lisbon was declared honorary doctorate in the Law School of the National and Capodistrian University of Athens.

The honored is a member of the European Group of Public Law, the Scientific Council of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and the Board of Editors of the “European Review of Public Law”, the quarterly publication of the EPLO.
He is an emblematic figure in the field of modern legal science with international recognition. He served as a minister in the first government after the “Carnation Revolution” that brought democracy to Portugal.
The awarding ceremony took place on January 21, 2015, at the Grand Hall of the Athens University. The honored guest was introduced by the rector’s representative Professor Konstantinos N. Bourazelis. Professor of the Law School Spyridon Flogaitis, director of the EPLO, presented the work of J. M. Sérvulo Correia.
